MOHAWK — Tree removal was under way Tuesday in the Mohawk Cemetery.Mayor James Baron stated at Monday’s village board meeting Top Notch Tree Experts would be in the village Tuesday to remove six trees from the cemetery and one from Johnson Avenue.The trees being removed had been damaged and/or posed a hazard.Department of Public Works Superintendent Kevin Wheelock said village crews had been using cold patches to make temporary repairs to village streets.
