HERKIMER — The village of Herkimer has announced the schedule of events for its summer recreation program for the first week of August. The program runs with staff available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at Harmon Field and Basloe Field. Free lunch is available from 11:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m. at Basloe Field. The schedule of events at Harmon Field is as follows: Tuesday, Aug. 2: Sprinkler Day.
