Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
I enjoy everything sports and athletics have to offer. Working together as a team is awesome. Win or lose playing sports is an amazing feeling, but it feels better to win.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
The most memorable athletic moment I have is when we played Adirondack in football. With 23 seconds left to go, in the fourth quarter, I caught the game-securing interception and we won the game, 26-24.
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
My grandfather, Michael N. Stehnach, inspires me to do well in sports because he also played baseball. He pitched for Dolgeville and was signed by the Yankees in 1935. I feel that is an inspiration all its own.
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
I have never faced many challenges when it came to balancing academics and sports. I know education is a very important aspect to a high school student so I focus on my education just as much as I do sports.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
After I graduate high school I plan on attending college in Boston, and to major in Mechanical Engineering.
