Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
I really enjoy football and my teams because there is a different mentality than in any other sports. In volleyball you can’t let adrenaline get to you. It’s a gentleman’s sport because you learn to be patient.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
The first time I kicked the field goal in a varsity game and (holder) Mike Battisti came up to me and said: “Get use to it, there will be plenty more.”
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
A person that really inspires me is Kevin Garnett because the passion and the love he has for the game is always shown on the court. He never gives up!
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
Trying to stay awake at home after long practices to finish my homework and keep my grades high.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I would like to attend HCCC for two years and transfer to Oswego to study Psychology and International Relations. Being bilingual, Spanish and English, I would like to be able to work in a place where I can use the languages I speak.
