Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
What I enjoy most is doing what I’m passionate about with my friends. It’s a great experience to have while going through high school and to be given the opportunity.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
My most memorable moment is my team’s softball sectionals game last year against Loudonville Christian. There isn’t one part about the game that is most memorable except when I got injured in the eighth out of nine innings and couldn’t finish the game. The whole game was my most memorable athletic moment. It was my favorite game of all-time.
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why
Somebody who inspires me in sports would have to be my varsity soccer coach, Zale Benton. There may be times when she gets fed up with the team but she inspires me to push myself to become better and to not give up.
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
My greatest challenges balancing my academics and sports would probably be trying to get all my homework done on game days, especially if it’s away.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
My plans are to attend SUNY-Cobleskill in the fall of 2011 to study in animal sciences and to extend my passion for sports by playing soccer and hopefully softball if they can get enough players.
