Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
I enjoy the competition. Those butterflies in your stomach before every game. Every hit I make and every hit I take because sports just pushes me to do my best.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
Scoring a touchdown at the Carrier Dome. We may have lost the game but knowing I left all I could on the field plus scoring made it that much more memorable.
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
My dad has inspired me since flag football. He used to give me a dollar for every flag I got, and five dollars for a touchdown and after a while I just got a taste for it and it pushed me to do my best. He supported me and pushed me to always try harder and I’ve tried not to let him down ever since.
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
Being a student athlete is difficult. You have to manage your time and sacrifice your social life with friends to balance school work (and) to succeed in sports.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
I plan to go to college for Athletic Training and would like to continue my basketball or football career but school is first.
