SUNYIT in Marcy is 12th in a ranking of top colleges in New York for future members of the armed services.
The College Database ranked post-secondary institutions in New York that were both affordable, with an annual tuition less than $20,000, and offered at least two ROTC programs for the Army, Navy, or Air Force.
The evaluation looked at four-year, degree-granting institutions.
In the ranking, the College Database did not include private for-profit colleges.
“As New York’s public polytechnic, SUNYIT is an affordable choice for students interested in a broad range of career paths, including service to our country,” said Jennifer Ninh, director of admissions, in a news release. “We have a long tradition of supporting both veterans and future members of the armed services.”
