Eugena Ganzmann, 62, of Ilion, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at Oneida Health Care, after a long illness.
Jean was born on March 30, 1951, in Warsaw, the daughter of the late Rolland and Evelyn (Carney) Sears.
Jean is survived by her husband, Bernard; four children and two step children, Elsie Windecker, of Ilion, William Conklin, of Daytona Beach, Fla., Kevin Kingdon, of Herkimer, Stacey Hensley, of Columbia, S.C., Pauline Ganzmann, of East Herkimer, and Erica Janis, of Frankfort; and her grandchildren, Bethany, Dale, Autum, Daniel, Valery, Cheyenne, Sabrina, Melody, Dylan, Brandon, Anthony, Raymond, Brittney, Amelia and Zackery. She is also survived by a sister, Rena Sears, of Rome, and two brothers, Don Sears, of Syracuse, and Rollie Sears, of Moberly, Mich. She was predeceased by her brother and sisters, Tom Sears, Valery Sears, Lena Seymour and Sandy Parish.
Funeral services for Jean will take place on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at 4 p.m. from Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego St., Ilion, with Pastor Harry Teuchert officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
