She also enjoyed gardening and sewing and had a great admiration for flowers. She was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. Frances was a member of Saints Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer.

She also leaves a sister-in-law, Helen Witkowski, of Orlando, Fla., and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Witkowski, and sisters, Julia Smagalski, Stella Witkowski and Edna Orcheski.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer (866-1011).
