  • Fall art classes announced at Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts

  • LITTLE FALLS — Fall classes at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts will start on Sept. 3.
    Frank Wilcox will present a mixed media class where students work in the medium of their choice at their own pace.
    Joan Balder Cook will offer pastel painting classes for all levels from introductory to advanced.
    Watercolors with Lynn Rogers will be for beginner to intermediate students and geared to help students create an individual style.
    Jim Parker’s art class will focuse on a variety of styles ranging from Old English to Japanese Anime; special needs students are welcome.
    Sarah Bereza will offer violin and cello lessons to all ages and levels of ability.
    Wilson Bickford’s “Fun and Fast Painting” workshops will continue and students will learn to utilize knife-painting techniques.
    Kathryn Bartscht’s “Joy of Painting” class uses the Bob Ross style of painting and students will leave each session with a completed painting.
    Terry Tippin will lead a class into the world of pottery, using various hand building techniques.
