Jack and Tina Douglas, of Douglas Farm, will host a Cabot Cheese Open Farm Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, at their family operated dairy farm at 502 Cedarville Rd., Cedarville.
The farm will be open to the public to visit, learn about farming practices and sample Cabot and Macadam cheese during the event. While touring and visiting with the Douglases and local farmers, visitors will also be able to admire antique tractors and toy farm displays, see the farm animals and equipment and meet local farmers that will have agricultural products available for purchase.
The Otsego and Herkimer County Dairy Princesses and Courts will be present promoting dairy products.
Barbecue will also be available for purchase.
