COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. — Ryan Crouse had a pair of goals Tuesday in the Owen D. Young Wildcats’ 3-1 win in Cooperstown.
Matthew Cristman also scored for the Wildcats (9-2-0) and Dustin Monk had an assist. Bradlee Edick was credited with one save.
Max Clinton scored a goal in the first half for Cooperstown’s Hawkeyes (7-5-0) and Kevin Frevele made seven saves.
Owen D. Young next plays Tuesday at Waterville.

ILION, N.Y. — Clinton scored a goal before halftime Tuesday and made it stand up for a 1-0 win over the Central Valley Academy Thunder.
Ben Owens scored for the undefeated Warriors with an assist from Tyler Jury. Max Huckaby made eight saves for Clinton (11-0-1) which is ranked 12th in the state in Class B.
Clay Colburn had 17 saves for Central Valley Academy (5-8-0).
The Thunder’s next match is Thursday at home against Sherburne-Earlville.
FRANKFORT, N.Y. — The Adirondack Wildcats scored five goals in the first half Tuesday and defeated the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights 6-1.
Kyle Swiecki had two goals and an assist for the Wildcats, Elliot Hernandez and Gabe Garrastazu each had a goal and an assist, and Gavin Merriam and Jacob Belewich each scored a goal. Sage Bailey and Jordan Millard each made three saves.
Emrah Ljubijankic scored in the second half for Frankfort-Schuyler with an assist from Vincent Spataro. Jared Vu made 12 saves.
The Maroon Knights play at Holland Patent Thursday.

HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. — Nick Finn scored all four goals in the first half Tuesday and the Holland Patent Golden Knights defeated West Canada Valley’s Indians 4-0.
Eric Miller, Dylan Blier, Zach Stevens and Logan Reinold each assisted on one of Finn’s goals for the Golden Knights (9-2-0).
West Canada Valley is home Thursday for a match against Herkimer.

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — The Old Forge Eskimos put in three goals in the first seven minutes of Tuesday’s 8-0 shutout victory over the Little Falls Mounties.
Connor Glasser opened the scoring 33 seconds into the match while Dane Daiker and Cy Gaffiney followed with quick tallies as the Eskimos built a 7-0 lead before halftime. John Gaffiney and Tyler McGough added single goals and Tee Williams scored twice before halftime. Daiker had a second goal in the second half.
The Eskimos outshot Little Falls (0-10-1) 47-2 and Mounties goalie Cole Douglas responded with 13 saves. John Gaffiney made two saves for Old Forge (6-4-0).
The Mounties have a match scheduled for Thursday against Poland.
