The Herkimer County Historical Society is offering a one day bus trip to visit the Yankee Candle Flagship Store in South Deerfield, Mass., and the Holyoke Mall on Saturday, Nov. 9.
In the morning the group will stop first at the Yankee Candle Flagship Store. Shopping in the 90,000 square foot store is an adventure, featuring candles in nearly 200 fragrances, according to a news release. It is also features a Bavarian Christmas Village, with an assortment of Christmas decorations and village set accessories for sale, and snow falling every few minutes. Travel through the Waterfall Courtyard and Nutcracker Castle to visit with Santa in his Enchanted Toy Workshop or sit down and watch The Candle Mountain Boys, their animatronic band, in the Kringle Market, near Mrs. Claus’ Bakery & Cafe, according to the release.
In the afternoon, with an optional stop at Cracker Barrel, the group will be dropped off at Holyoke Mall featuring over 200 stores.
The cost of the trip is $55 per person. For groups of six or more, it’s $50 per person.
