  • Apparently even ridiculously wealthy and successful showrunners can get their feelings hurt.
Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has quit Twitter one day after posting a mysterious and (purposefully?) unfinished message: "After much thought and deliberation, I've decided t".
A longtime stalwart of the social media site, Lindelof was arguably one of Hollywood's most passionate voices, posting messages about everything from Lost to his own must-watch shows like The Walking Dead and Homeland.
    The biggest celebrity feuds
However, things turned brutal on the night that one of his favorite series, Breaking Bad, aired it's series finale on Sept. 29. During the final hour, which was widely applauded by both critics and fans, many viewers were reminded of the not-so acclaimed series finale of Lost and began tweeting hateful messages at Lindelof. At times, Lindelof even engaged in some unhealthy tweeting of his own when he sent angry messages to Game of Thrones' mastermind George R.R. Martin when Martin said in an interview he was unhappy with the way Lost ended.
But is Lindelof really gone for good? Other famous Twitter users who have quit in the past, such as Miley Cyrus and Alec Baldwin, eventually returned. However, Lindelof is currently busy working on his first series since Lost, an adaptation of Tom Perrotta's book The Leftovers for HBO.
