There are still tickets available for Sitrin’s Syracuse basketball raffle.
One fan will win four Syracuse University men’s basketball season passes and $1,000 cash on Nov. 1. The package includes tickets to all regular season home games at the Carrier Dome, including games against competitors like the Duke Blue Devils and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Tickets to these games are nearly sold out, and officials expect recording-breaking crowds to be in attendance, according to a news release.
Tickets are $10 each, and a total of 3,500 will be sold. They may be purchased online at www.sitrin.com, in person at Sitrin or by calling 737-2245.
The package is valued at $4,067.
The winner will be responsible for all applicable state and federal taxes.
The drawing will take place on Friday, Nov. 1, at noon at the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center. Ticket buyers do not need to be present at the drawing to win. Entrants must be 18 years of age.
Proceeds from the raffle will be used to purchase basketball wheelchairs for Sitrin STARS athletes. The Success Through Adaptive Recreation and Sports Program enables individuals with physical disabilities to participate in recreational and Paralympic level-sports. In addition to wheelchair basketball, activities include wheelchair road racing, adaptive curling, adaptive paddling, cross-country skiing/biathlon, air rifle shooting, archery, skiing and adaptive golf.
