Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” presented by the West Canada Valley Music Department, will run Nov. 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. in the WCV auditorium.
White Christmas is based on the film of the same name and features 17 Berlin songs and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake.
Veterans Bob Wallace (Solomon Davies) and Phil Davis (Noah Marrero) have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters, Betty Haynes (Hannah Wagner) and Judy Haynes (Kristen Gizzi), en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander.
The score features well known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep is the Ocean” and “White Christmas.”
Also with lead roles are William Lawrence, Katelyn Strong, Shayla Clark, Garrhet Davis, Myranda Davies, Faith Rowsam, Tyler Conover, Parker Esty, Samantha Raymo, Kevin Chlus, Samantha Johnson, Michael Desmond, Morgan Desmond, Mariah Conover, Michael Jacobs-Mijolovic and Andrew Thierry.
Chorus members include Michala Bintz, Cris Boerger, Morgan Brennan, Jesse Davis, Erik Ervin, Kimberley Ford, Courtney Gee, Kaylin Gee, Baily Jackson, John Lawrence, Wally Markowski, Alexis Oyer, Chris Schultz, Nicole Snyder and Rebecca Williams.
The show will be under the direction of William Van Patten and choreographed by Shane Bonney.
