UTICA — U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna announced some employers who will participate in a jobs fair he’ll host at Mohawk Valley Community College later this month to put people back to work and assist businesses looking to hire.
The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 in the MVCC Jorgensen Events Center.
“I hope job seekers and hiring businesses will take advantage of this jobs fair to network and address their interests — whether it be to find a job or hire new employees,” Rep. Hanna, R - Barneveld, said in a news release.
Participating employers include First Choice Group, Insight House CDS, Presbyterian Home for Central New York, APAC, Oneida County Department of Personnel, Utica College, Springbrook, Birnie Bus Service, Oneida Nation Enterprise and Turning Stone Resort, Columbia Place Associates, LutheranCare, Human Technologies Corporation, WorkForce Investment Board, Mary Kay, Carbone Auto Group, U.S. Airways, Eastern Star Home and Infirmary, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, New York State Department of Labor, BNY Mellon, MVCC, Mid York Library System and Utica Public Library.
