Witches of East End has officially cast its spell on Lifetime.
The freshman drama has been renewed for a second season, Lifetime announced Friday.
"With its great storytelling and amazing cast, Witches of East End is leading a full-blown witch renaissance," Lifetime's Executive Vice President and General Manager, Rob Sharenow, said in a statement. "The show's perfect mix of premium execution with content that is in the zeitgeist is drawing new viewers to Lifetime and we're very excited to be bringing it back for a second season."
The show's 13-episode second season will debut next year.
Based on Melissa de la Cruz's best-selling novel, Witches of East End stars Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Rachel Boston, Julia Ormond and Madchen Amick. The series has been averaging 3 million viewers since its October debut. The show wraps its first season in December.
