UTICA — The Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Foundation’s annual Wine Tasting and Auction benefitting St. Luke’s Home took place on Oct. 5 at the Sadaquada Golf Club in Whitesboro.
The event raised more than $58,000 for St. Luke’s Home.
St. Luke’s Home is a 202-bed facility with a 40-bed subacute rehabilitation unit.
Proceeds from the auction will be used to purchase a computer software program that will help engage the residents in computer activities.
“The strong support we received from the community for this year’s auction was incredible,” said Bonnie Woods, chairwoman of the FSLH Foundation’s Wine Tasting and Auction Committee, in a news release. “We deeply appreciate the support for St. Luke’s Home and thank everyone who participated in this enjoyable event.”
The live auction featured a selection of wines donated by Constellation Brands of Rochester, including a rare set of three Opus One vintages from across the decades.
