  • DOLGEVILLE — The Henderson-Gen. Nicholas Herkimer Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, of Jordanville, and the Col. Wlm. Feeter Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, of Dolgeville, conducted a joint organizational meeting at Arthur’s at 19 S. Main St., Dolgeville, to work out the arrangements for the roundtable they will co-host in May 2014.
New York State Daughters of the American Revolution is divided into 11 districts, and the local area is in District 5, which is composed of 18 individual chapters. Each district conducts joint meetings of all the chapters in its district, and these meetings are referred to as roundtables, which are attended by members of each chapter, to discus issues and programs important to the DAR on local, district, state and National levels. District V conducts six roundtables a year, with each chapter taking its turn hosting a roundtable.
The May 2014 roundtable hosted by Henderson-General Nicholas Herkimer and the Col. Wlm. Feeter Chapters will take place at Francesca’s Banquets and Catering, 144 E. Main St., Ilion.
