Nine months after splitting, Diane Lane and Josh Brolin will officially ring in the new year single.
The couple's divorce has been finalized according to court records filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Nov. 27, People reports.
The actress, 48, legally restored her name back to Diane Lane after having changed it to Diane Lane Brolin when they wed eight years earlier.
The news comes several weeks after Brolin, 45, checked into a rehab facility in Northern California. Before that, the actor was allegedly involved in two different altercations in which he appeared to be intoxicated and both of which were taped and posted on TMZ. He was also arrested for public intoxication on New Year's Eve 2013, but was released without charge.
The couple tied the knot in August 2004 after dating for two and a half years. This was the second marriage for both Oscar nominated actors, who have children from their previous marriages but have no kids together.
Brolin can currently be seen in the remake of Oldboy. Lane most recently played Martha Kent in Man of Steel and will reprise her role in the sequel.
