HERKIMER — Herkimer police said Saturday they believe they have located the clothing used by the suspect in the First Source Credit Union robbery on Friday.
Sgt. Martin Luppino said they could not disclose where the items were found, but said anyone with information should contact Herkimer police at 866-4330.
The robbery occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Source Federal Credit Union at 510 W. State St. No injuries were reported and the business was closed the rest of the day.
Police have released a bank security camera photo of the suspect, whom they describe as a white man between 40 and 50 years old, heavy set and in the mid-200 pound range. He is pictured wearing a red plaid hunting jacket, blue jeans and glasses.
The suspect was last seen on foot walking behind the credit union westbound on Albany Street and may have climbed into an older model white pickup truck with an extended cab and some rust on the vehicle.
If anyone recognizes the suspect in the photo, they are asked to contact 911, Herkimer police or state police in Oneida at 366-6000.
The First Source was also robbed on April 9, 2012.
