  • GIRLS' BOWLING ROUNDUP: Central Valley Academy earns first win

  • ILION, N.Y. — The Central Valley Academy defeated the Cooperstown Hawkeyes 5-0 Tuesday and claimed its first win of the Thunder era at the State Bowling Center.
    Nicole Pritchard rolled a 342 series to lead the Thunder (1-3), knocking down one more pin than teammate Myranda Abel and 11 more than Allison Ford. Betty Lyman’s 135 in the second was the team’s high single game.
    Paige Hewitt had a 277 series for Cooperstown (0-3).

    LITTLE FALLS 0
    HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. — The Holland Patent Golden Knights were 5-0 winners Tuesday against Little Falls.
    Jenna Rose Harrington threw a 496 series to lead Holland Patent while Kali Barnhart’s 189 was the high game for the Golden Knights.
    Nicole Worden had a 158 game and 437 series for Little Falls.
