  • Three arrested for Ilion robbery

  • ILION — Ilion police arrested three Ilion residents in connection to a Dec. 4 robbery.
    Nelson P. Johnson, III, 23, of Otsego St., and an 18-year-old unidentified male were charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree robbery on Dec. 5, police said.
    Marc A. Abdallah, 22, of S. Fifth Ave., was arrested at the Oneida County jail and was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree robbery on Dec. 13, police said. He was also charged with second-degree attempted assault, police said.
    Police said the three individuals forcibly stole property from another person. While committing the crime, police said Abdallah allegedly threatened to use a knife.
    Johnson was arraigned and was sent to Herkimer County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond. Abdallah and the unidentified male, whose name was withheld due to his age, were arraigned and were sent to Herkimer County jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
