CHITTENANGO — Locally-produced goods are available for purchase at the Chittenango Service Area on the New York State Thruway, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Friday.
Maple syrup, yogurt, cheese and other products, all made in New York, are being sold at the newest Taste NY store, according to a news release. The store is the second thruway location to offer Taste NY products year-round and is one of five new Taste NY storefronts carrying the locally-produced goods, the release said. The other locations are Clarence, Pembroke, Seneca and Scottsville.
Taste NY is part of the governor’s nearly $60 million plan to grow New York industries, create jobs and attract more visitors — the state’s largest tourism campaign in decades.
