  • HERKIMER — The annual indoor football tailgate party to benefit the United Way will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Waterfront Grille.
Admission is $20 per person, which includes food throughout the day and the opportunity to win prizes and watch the NFL championship games. All proceeds will benefit the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica.
Assemblyman Marc Butler and Waterfront Grille owners Barb and Rocky Fiato, who will cook and donate the food for the event, will sponsor the party. The menu will include typical football tailgate food such as chili, hamburgers, hot dogs, soup and other foods.
“Through the years this has become a very popular event and a great way to enjoy the championship football games with friends while, at the same time, helping an organization that does so much for us,” said Butler. “We are pleased that Rocky and Barbie are once again sponsoring this event.”
The Waterfront Grille is in the Gems Along the Mohawk complex on Mohawk Street, across from the Herkimer Thruway exit.
