  • GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Richfield Springs pulls out win in fourth quarter

  • RICHFIELD SPRINGS, N.Y. — Kaity Richvalsky scored seven of her team-high 15 points in the fourth quarter Friday and the Richfield Springs Indians rallied for a 41-34 win over Morris.
    The Indians (7-3, 4-2 TVL East) had trailed 26-13 at halftime and and were still down by eight points before outscoring the Mustangs 19-4 in the fourth quarter.
    Richfield Springs allowed four points each in the third and fourth quarters.
    Madisyn Butler scored eight points for the Indians, Jerikah Hext and Rebecca Smith each had nine rebounds, and Richvalsky had five steals.
    Alexis Forgit scored 14 points to lead Morris.
    Richfield Springs plays on the road Tuesday at Edmeston.
