  • GIRLS' BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Frankfort-Schuyler defeats Dolgeville

  • FRANKFORT, N.Y. — Danielle Migliore scored 24 points Saturday in the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights' 64-47 win over the Dolgeville Blue Devils.
    Frankfort-Schuyler (10-2, 5-1 CSC-II) held the Blue Devils (4-9, 0-5 CSC-II) to 23 points through three quarters, one less than they would score in the fourth.
    Migliore added six rebounds and three steals while shooting 8-for-8 from the foul line. Kristy Wallace had five points and five assists, Kaitlyn Di’Flo had seven points and nine rebounds, Alexis Bianchi had eight points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots, and Danielle Caivana had six points, six assists and seven rebounds.
    Jackie Fake scored 17 points to lead Dolgeville.
    Frankfort-Schuyler plays at Little Falls Wednesday. Dolgeville is home Wednesday for a game against Herkimer.

    BOONVILLE, N.Y. — The Sherburne-Earlville Marauders outscored Adirondack 30-10 in the first half of Saturday’s 61-41 win over the Wildcats.
    The Marauders’ defense limited Adirondack to four points in the first quarter and six in the second.
    Jordan Van Althuis and Lilley Berg each scored 14 points to lead Sherburne-Earlville while Mikayla Solloway added 11.
    Lexi Charbonneau was the high scorer for Adirondack with 10 points.
