  • Bronx man arrested for forgery, criminal impersonation

  • HERKIMER Herkimer police arrested a New York City man after he gave several false names during a traffic stop.
    Darryl King, 24, of Bronx, was charged with second-degree forgery, a class D felony, false personation, two counts of second-degree criminal impersonation, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and several traffic infractions, police said.
    King was an occupant in a car during a traffic stop at 4 a.m. on April 16 when he allegedly provided multiple names, police said. He was detained for identification.
    Police said King had assumed the identity of another person during several encounters with police over the past several months.
    King was arraigned and was sent to Herkimer County jail without bail, police said.
