Average of seven final national polls released in the past two days has Obama ahead by a smidgen

RealClearPolitics, a pioneer in the aggregating of presidential polls, REPORTS that the seven national polls released Sunday or today, all of them final surveys, show Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney by an average of less than one percentage point.

Meanwhile, of the FOUR NEW POLLS in the ever-important state of Ohio, three show Obama ahead and the other has the race tied.

Polling analysts Nate Silver, Sam Wang and Drew Linzer all still expect Obama to win at least 300 electoral votes. They’ll issue final projections late tonight or tomorrow....
