Stop the presses!
The Drudge Report, Fox News, the Daily Caller and various other right-wing media got themselves all hotted up late yesterday over the re-emergence of a five-year-old video of then-Sen. Barack Obama delivering a speech at a conference of black clergy in which he complained about the federal response to Hurricane Katrina.
What really galled these would-be scandal-mongers of the right was what they saw as Obama’s use of a black accent in his speech and his shout-out to the infamous Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Zounds! I guess that pretty much dooms Obama’s chances of getting re-elected, right?
