My favorite wingnut reaction to the news is this headline at the inimitable Gateway Pundit: “Obama Continues Attacks On Christian Church – Throws His Support Behind Gay Marriage.”
Such stupidity begs the question: What “Christian Church” are the geniuses at Gateway Pundit talking about? There are many different Christian denominations, and they are not all opposed to gay marriage. The largest Christian denomination, the Roman Catholic Church, is officially opposed to gay marriage, but most American Catholics are not.
