Mist and Light
There is something about waking up to a misty, foggy morning that almost always draws me to wander outdoors. Everything is muted, and yet, when the sun manages to break through here and ther, colors are magnified and I get to see reality in ways different from that of clearer mornings.
Foggy mornings, aka pea soup mornings, are magical. When I take the time to climb the hills on such a morning, I can look down below and the entire valley has hidden beneath a blanket of soft white, while up here on top I see the sunshine.

Objects appear with fuzzy outlines created by mist - a blurred sort of canvas stretches before me. I would highly recoment getting up early to enjoy the few hours before sunlight burns off the fog.
