Let’s face it: whole artichokes are weird.If you don’t have experience with artichokes, they are intimidating and scary looking. If you cut into one not knowing what to expect, you will find layers (literally) of confusion. However, hiding beneath prickly leaves and a hairy purplish choke, is a pleasing veggie treat.
