HERKIMER — The Department of Housing and Urban Development has been encouraging all public housing facilities to adopt smoke free policies.Because of this and the concern for residents' health, the Herkimer Housing Authority has announced beginning Jan. 1, 2015, all its apartments will be going smoke free.
