The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Herkimer arrested a 28-year-old Herkimer man Tuesday in connection with a burglary at Donna’s Diner on State Route 5.
David R. May, of 330 Eureka Ave., was charged with third-degree burglary after an investigation into a forced entry burglary to Donna’s Diner, which occurred July 20 at approximately 2:30 a.m.
May was arraigned before German Flatts Town Justice Gary Norman and was committed to the Herkimer County jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail bond.
May, who is currently on parole for a previous burglary conviction, is scheduled to appear at a later date for further court action.
State police were assisted by New York State Parole Officers Richard Mathews and Jeff Stewart.
