A Mohawk man was arrested on several charges, including reckless endangerment, in connection with an incident in the town of Oppenheim, according to state police in Fonda.
Paul Overacker, 41, was arrested on two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of second-degree harassment and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
State police in Fonda were contacted by state police in Herkimer regarding a report of a domestic situation on state Highway 29 in the town of Oppenheim. The arrest was made after state police conducted an investigation into allegations Overacker operated his vehicle in a reckless manner endangering the lives of other family members.
Overracker was arraigned at Ephratah Town Court, released and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13 at 6 p.m.
