In the news: "Skyfall," the latest James Bond film (this one starring Daniel Craig), set a new opening weekend Bond record by hauling in $87.8 million. The previous record holder for the 23-film franchise was "Quantum of Solace," which opened with $67.5 million. "Skyfall" has received widespread acclaim frmo critics.

Happening today: Tonight’s “Monday Night Football” game pits the Chiefs against the Steelers. The game is at 8:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN.
