A 35-year-old man killed himself with a shotgun after he threatened his wife with the weapon in an earlier domestic incident, according to state police reports.
Kyle C. Foster was found dead Friday at 482 Main St., state police reported., and a self-inflicted gunshot wound was deemed the cause.
Foster was involved in the domestic incident on Thursday in which he assaulted his wife and then menaced her with the shotgun, state police said Monday. The wife was able to leave the residence and contact the police, who then made several failed attempts to locate Foster Thursday evening, according to police reports.
State police obtained an arrest warrant for Foster and responded with a Special Operations Response Team at the residence where the incident occurred. The SORT team made a tactical entry into the home where the team found Foster’s body, police said.
