Herkimer County Clerk Sylvia Rowan will offer the six-hour defensive driving course to Herkimer County residents and nonresidents through the Herkimer County Clerk’s Office.
The course will be offered on Saturday, Feb. 16 and will meet from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a half hour lunch, at the Herkimer County 911 Center, 71 Reservoir Rd., near the Herkimer County Community College campus.
Enrollment will be on a first come, first served basis. Payment will be $35 will and include all books and materials. Individuals will be enrolled when payment is received. Upon completion of the classroom training, participants will be eligible for a reduction in New York state points and insurance.
