The Frankfort Fire Department will hold its annual Santa’s visit through the fire district Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 14-17.
This will be the fire department’s forty-first year of hosting a Visit from Santa Claus. There will be two floats. The “Happy Lane” float has a carousel, which will host Mickey Mouse, Elmo and Tigger. The second float delivers “Santa’s Workshop,” along with Santa himself.
The journey will begin Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening at 5:45 p.m. and Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. Children and adults alike are encouraged to come outside to greet Santa and his friends. All are welcome along any of the scheduled routes.

The scheduled routes are as follows:
•Dec. 14: Starting at First Avenue Extension and Reese Road to Acme Road, to McGowan Road; McGowan Road to Terrace Hill Estates Park, where Santa will conclude the night’s journey.
•Dec. 15: Starting at Second Avenue Extension, continuing through Fifth Avenue Extension, stopping at Reese Road school; Reese Road school to Button Lane, to Litchfield Road, to LiBritz Drive to Countryview Avenue to Maple Lane to Piper Lane; South Litchfield Street though Edgebrook Estates Circle, finishing South Litchfield Street and concluding at the fire station.
•Dec. 16: Starting at Pleasant Avenue to Mann Street to Erie Street, to East Avenue to East Canal Street, to Ives Avenue to Acme Road. Acme Road to East Main Street to Tisdale Avenue to East Orchard, to Sheldon Avenue, to Bee Street, to Williams Street, to Railroad Street to Industrial Drive, to Church Street, to East Orchard to North Frankfort Street to East Canal Street. East Canal Street to South Litchfield Street to West Main Street to Adams Street, to Elizabeth Street to Grandview Avenue, concluding at Hillcrest Road.
•Dec. 17: Starting at First Avenue and Reese Road through Eighth Avenues in the village.
