HERKIMER, N.Y. —
The South Washington Street Bridge was scheduled to reopen by the end of the day Thursday, according to the New York State Department of Transportation Region 2 Traffic Operations Center in Utica.
The bridge had been closed since July 25. The project included work on the bridge deck and surfaces as well as replacing the guide railing to meet current standards.
