Dolores M. Rank, 80, of Currier Avenue, Peterborough died peacefully Thursday May 8, 2008 at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born Aug. 28, 1927, in Ilion, N.Y., daughter of the late Russell and Madeline (Burdick) Brown.
She graduated in 1945 from Mohawk (N.Y.) High School. Following high school she had worked as a secretary for Remington Rand Co. for eight years.
After moving to New Hampshire she and her husband owned and operated Seven Falcon Inc. in Antrim.
She has been a resident of Peterborough for the past 41 years.
Mrs. Rank was a member of the Wilton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Time spent with family was most important to her, especially with her grandchildren who were the biggest part of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Travers L. Rank of Peterborough; her son and his wife Travers A. and “Vicky” Rank of Antrim; her two grandchildren Travers and Madison also of Antrim; and her “Daughter by Choice, Not by Birth” Robin Nolan of New Ipswich.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Route 101, West Wilton, N.H.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Wilton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 41 N.H. Route 101, Temple, NH 03084
The Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey is assisting the family.
