Rebecca Samantha O’Hara, 19, a resident of 138 W. German St., Herkimer, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 27, 2010, in that facility.
She was born on May 24, 1991, daughter of Todd F. O’Hara of Montana and the late Jenny Marie Schuster, who passed away in 2004. Becky has resided in the Mohawk Valley since age 13.
Rebecca’s personal interests were music and arts. She also loved to write stories and poems. Becky was happiest when in the presence of her extended family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her father, Todd; her grandmother, Letha Fraley and her husband, in Kentucky; and her friends/extended family at the George F. Aney Community Residence in Herkimer. She also leaves three half brothers in Arizona and one half sister, also in Arizona. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jenny.
Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010, from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer.
