David H. Knowles, 65, of 11 Susann Ct., Fredonia, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Erie, Pa.
David was born on Jun 27, 1943, in Utica, the son of Harold and Anna (Madaras) Knowles. He was a 1961 graduate of Mohawk High School and later Syracuse University. David was employed for 32 years as a claims processor with the Social Security Administration. David was an Army veteran serving overseas during Vietnam. He was a member of the Fredonia American Legion and was of the Methodist faith.
David is survived by his father Harold of Ilion and Aunt Eva Edick of Ilion and an Uncle Frank Madaras of Richfield Springs. He is also survived by several cousins. David was pre-deceased by his mother Anna.
In keeping with his wishes there are no calling hours or public funeral. David will be interred with his mother at Crown Hill Memorial Gardens in the town of Kirkland.
