Esther Dorothy Tripp, 81, of Cleveland, N.Y., devoted wife and mother, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Utica, N.Y.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Kenneth F. Tripp of Cleveland, N.Y.; children and spouses, Donna and Bill Indzeris of Gloucester, Va., Wayne and Susan Tripp of Herkimer, N.Y., Dale and Audrey Tripp of Hartsville, S.C.; grandchildren Mark, Laura and Tom Johnson, Allison Tripp, Rachelann Tripp, Joshua Tripp, Garret Tripp, also several nieces and nephews. She retired as a registered nurse and nurse educator and was a member of the Cleveland United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City. The Rev. Steve Mattox will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home.
