Patricia Eileen Lotoski, 65, of North Fourth Avenue, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, Jan. 5, 2013, in her home. She had the comfort of her loving family at her side.
She was born on June 11, 1947, in Norwich. A lifelong area resident, she was a graduate of Poland High School. On July 10, 1976, she was united in marriage with Donald G. Lotoski in Frankfort. They first made their home in Frankfort and later moved to Ilion. Mrs. Lotoski was a licensed practical nurse and had worked for Loretta Nursing Home in Utica. She retired in 2007.
Patricia loved her home and family. She was particularly happy when she was surrounded by her many friends and family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving besides her husband, Donald, are a special grandson, Dennis Lotoski; one daughter, Robin Lotoski and her son, Trenton Lotoski, all of Ilion; three sons, Donald J. Lotoski and wife, Mary Beth, of Utica, Thomas Ingersoll and his fiancee, Sharon Randt, of Ilion, and George Lotoski and wife, Ida, of Utica; four brothers; one sister; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Lotoski was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Magely.
Calling hours for Mrs. Lotoski will be on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. in Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court St., Herkimer. A celebration of Patricia’s life will take place immediately after at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hospice staff members, Ann and Bonnie, and to Doctor Alicia DeTraglia for the care and compassion shown Patricia during her illness. Also, a special thank you to her special friend, Caroline.
