Henry “Hank” Williams Jr., formerly of John Street, Ilion, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica.

Hank was born May 1, 1928, in New Rochelle, N.Y., the son of the late Henry and Margaret Finnegan Williams, and received his education in the New Rochelle schools. Hank was married to the former Mary Houghtaling and also to his first wife, Margaret Vitulli.

Hank was employed as a machine operator with Remington Arms, Ilion, retiring several years ago, and was a member of the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion.

Surviving Hank are his children, Henry Williams, Barbara Reilly, Diane Connors, Kathleen Baker and Dawn Williams; three brothers, Allen, Roy and Thomas; a sister, Joyce Rafferty, of Ilion; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Hank will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at 7 p.m. from the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego St., Ilion, with Fr. Leo Potvin officiating.

Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
