Eleanore A. Iglesias, 80, of Rome, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010, at home.

She was born in Stamford, CT, on May 24, 1930, daughter  of the late William Charles and Sophia Wykowski Sullivan. On June 18, 1949, she married Frank Iglesias, Jr., in Stamford, CT. He  passed away May 9, 2000. Eleanore was a former member of Holy Name  Catholic Church in Stamford.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Jen Iglesias, Ilion; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisabeth Iglesias, Syracuse, and Francine Iglesias-Tosti and Gaetano Tosti, Rome; five  grandchildren, Phillip A. Fuentes, Mark J. Fuentes, Kaylynn E. Iglesias, Sophia F.A. Iglesias-Tosti and Tyler Tosti; a son-in-law, Abraham Fuentes, Jr., Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Lynn Fuentes, who passed away November 15, 1993, and two brothers, Robert Sullivan and Eugene Sullivan, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., Rome. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on  Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
