Marjorie A. Hill, 92, of Willoughby Hall, died on October 1, 2012, at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.

Marjorie was born on February 25, 1920, in Racine, Wisconsin. She was a member of West Canada Valley Unit #1524 American Legion Auxiliary and the Kuyahoora Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jacquelyn Neely (Peter) VerColen of Colorado Springs, CO, and Shaaron Neely Hart of  Utica. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and extended family members and friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Rose Vandament; her husband, Clifford Hill; and her two sisters, Mildred Lea and Nadean Scott.

A private service for family will be held. There are no calling hours. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Marjorie’s name to the Newport Volunteer Fire Company, 7370 Main Street, Newport, NY 13416.
